Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Paul Dambowy joined MNGI Digestive Health in 2015. From 2018 to 2020, he was the Site Medical Director at MNGI’s Woodbury Clinic and Endoscopy Center. He has been Chief Medical Officer since 2021.
Experience
Dr. Dambowy was on staff at HealthPartners as a Gastroenterologist for over 4 years working primarily at Regions Hospital and the HealthPartners Specialty Center. He has clinical and research experience in general GI disorders, viral hepatitis treatment and outcomes, metabolic liver disease and eosinophilic esophagitis. Dr. Dambowy joined MNGI Digestive Health (previously Minnesota Gastroenterology) in October, 2015.

Personal Interests
Dr. Dambowy attended college with a vocal scholarship and continue to enjoy a very eclectic array of music. Other interests include fishing, hockey, wrestling and most importantly, his wife and children.
